The Good News
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish
but have everlasting life" ~ John 3:16
The Need to konw the Truth about the Good News
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" ~ John 8:32
If you have doubts about God, Its not your fault. It might be because you were taught false doctrine and it
has given you a negative view of God. The following are things two truths that most people don't know about:
The truth about death and Sin
For example, how can an immortal soul get tormented in hell if it can't feel anything? Our souls are mortal and can
be burned out of existance if it were in such a place. The dust of the ground plus the breath of life makes a living
soul. Therefore if you seperate the two elements, the soul no longer exists. The breath of life and the spirit is the
same thing. Without pure life-giving-air, there would be no life. The problem is that are bodies are mortal and when it stops
funtioning, eventually the spirit (or breath of life) will depart.
The fourth commandment is to remember the to keep the sabbath holy (friday sunset to saturday
sunset). If this command was abolished, wouldn't all the rest of the be too? Jesus says if you love him you will keep his
commandments. When He said love God asn your neighbor, He is saying that its impossible to keep the ten commandments if you
don't have love. The law itself doesn't save you though. The only purpose of it is to reconize what sin is. The bible compares
it to a mirror. The wages of sin death. Sin is a suicide because it separates you from God who is life itself. Sin is also
a bondage because its addictive.
The ceremonial laws did get abolished though. These laws had to do with how you had to sacrifice a spoteless lamb that
repesented Jesus in order to get forgiveness from sin.
